2026 Legislative Wrap Up

In 2026 The Academy spent time in Dover at Legislative Hall, advocating for Public Health. The Academy has three categories we place legislation in:

  • Legislation we support – this looks like writing letters of support, speaking in favor of the legislation in committee, and any other tangible actions we find appropriate
  • Legislation we are monitoring – the Academy remains neutral until an action is deemed necessary
  • Legislation that we oppose – this can look like writing a letter of opposition and speaking in opposition to the legislation in committee
